CRITCH brings a blend of raw tones, fast-paced lyrics, riffy melodies, and emotionally fueled set, bridging the gap between alternative and punk music. The North-East’s most exciting band to watch are finding support all across the UK.

Taking influence from Arctic Monkeys, Soft Play, Fontaines D.C., and Catfish and the Bottlemen, their upcoming 5 track Debut EP ‘No Ball Games’ ambiciously targets being everyones favourite release. Sitting in the grasps of dark tones, and gritty lyrics – this feels like a new era of music, and a style that the band are pioneering.

Within their first 5 month as a band, they’ve sold out shows across two different countries, played a handful of festivals, and crafted their debut EP. Finding a place with Alt/Punk/Indie-rock bands proves that CRITCH upholds high standards in their music, and it is enjoyed across multiple genres.

Combined hundreds of shows between the lineup of band members, a local college tutor, venue promoter, Multi-instrumentalist Chef and a drummer with perfect pitch. The inseperable bunch confidently plan to have a UK headline tour, and an album ready for 2026.

The band recently reformed from their previous project, Precious Ink, which garnered 10k listens on their Debut EP ‘Radio Silence’ in its first week, supported Aziz Ibrahim (Stone Roses), and played festivals and sold-out headline shows across the North-East. Now, with a refined sound and a minor lineup change, CRITCH is setting its sights on music world domination.
