Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Crowell first made his mark as part of Emmylou Harris’s legendary Hot Band before launching a solo career that produced a string of acclaimed albums including Diamonds & Dirt, The Houston Kid, and The Chicago Sessions. His latest record, Airline Highway, continues his lifelong exploration of love, loss, and the human condition with the eloquence and wit that have made him one of America’s most respected storytellers.
