Weird Pop Club

WEIRD POP CLUB – is launching this November at @poprecs in Sunderland with a line-up we’re so excited about.

@theeleopardprint are the punk party band you’ve been waiting for! Their energetic shows, songs about animals and dual female vocals never fail to win over audiences. FFO: B-52s, Bangles and Chappell Roan.

@avaandthefates is an art-rock band who create intricate soundscapes, utilising enough instruments to fill a music shop. Their experimental songs are inspired by literature and mythology. FFO: Bat For Lashes, Kate Bush and the Cocteau Twins.

Amateur Ornithologist will headline – our first since the sold out release party for The Haunted Life of Architecture at Pop Recs in May.

We’re really pleased to have @soundbyelle working with us too.

We’re aiming for a night with great tunes, fantastic bands and an inclusive, community atmosphere for all weird music and art lovers. Level access and an accessible toilet are both available.

There’ll be free gifts on the night too!
