Unity in the Community Weekender

Sunderland will once again showcase its strength in unity this October with the return of the Unity in the Community Weekender – a two-day festival bringing people together through culture, music, and community spirit.

The celebrations begin at Sunderland Minster on Saturday 18 October with a free family festival featuring live music, food, dance, drama, arts and crafts, and community stalls.

On Sunday 19 October, the party continues at the Beacon of Light, where Sunderland Music City will host an afternoon of live performances and cultural showcases. The Sunday event is free but ticketed so we can manage capacity and notify you of set times and event updates.
