Bede Quartet Live (Album Release)

To celebrate the release of his debut album, bassist Michael Dunlop brings this quartet to this intimate and unusual venue, the Pottery Gallery at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens. Featuring distinguished musicians Finn Carter (piano), Albert Hills Wright (alto saxophone) and Dillon Harrison (drums), the band plays a unique brand of Jazz including their own versions of Northumbrian folk tunes. 

Initially formed as a drum-less trio in 2021, Bede Quartet has evolved its own cohesive voice with strong, simple melodies and collective improvisation at the core. We are delighted to share this debut record, recorded over a few days in rural Northumberland.
